Gibraltar trip
The first and second year bilingual students had the opportunity to learn the characteristics of
Gibraltar and its people, asking them to fill in a questionnaire. The
weather was typically British: cloudy and a little rainy, but we could visit the Glass exhibition Centre and the diverse Gibraltar Museum with the military material, the Moorish baths, the Egyptian mummy, some common animals from the area, a model of the Rock and a complete history of the place. Then we walked along Main street to see the changing of the guard at the Governor's residence (the Convent) to reach the Botanic Gardens; there we saw different plants and animals, including the apes in the distance. Later we walked back to Casemates square to finish the experience. It was a great chance to get to know our neighbours!
