2017 is the International year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, declared by the United Nations. Huerta del Rosario Secondary School is working on some projects with bilingual groups. Some students are doing research on the hotels in our town to get information about how they deal with this issue. The students will cover fields like use of water, buildings distance to the sea shore, green areas, use of renewable energy and more.We have organised visits to these facilities to interview hotel staff and managers and collect data to prepare the students' projects. The results will be presented in different formats so that the information can be accesible to the school community. The students are enjoying the process and they will be pleased to learn about our town.
